Amherst Quant Competition 2025 - Inaugural Edition

The first-ever Amherst Quant Competition (AQC) 2025 showcased exceptional talent across multiple quantitative disciplines. The competition featured six challenging segments: Estimathon®, Brainteaser Battle, Coding Challenge, Algorithmic Trading, Manual Trading, and Strategy & Product cases. Led by President Dhyey Mavani, the event brought together students from prestigious institutions including Amherst College, MIT, Stanford University, and Smith College. The competition integrated cutting-edge technology, including custom-built trading platforms, ElevenLabs-powered news simulations, and AI benchmarks using Perplexity, OpenAI, Microsoft Phi4, and Google Gemini. Sponsored by Jane Street, Summit Securities Group, and Amherst College, the event featured keynote speaker Kevin Ma (Class of 2023), former Amherst College Quant Club President and current Jane Street Trader.
