Abstract
RBlocks is a framework designed to make statistical software more accessible to non-coding statistics enthusiasts. Using Google Blockly open-source packages and a JavaScript-based interface, the project transitions statistical programming infrastructure into R. The tool simplifies the learning curve for R programming and statistical analysis, particularly for students. Initially developed for Amherst College students, the framework has potential for broader adoption globally.
Type

This work introduces RBlocks, an assistive tool for learning R through a block-based programming interface. By leveraging Google Blockly and integrating the functionality into R, the project lowers the barriers for non-coders to engage with statistical programming and data analysis.
